Research visit to Beijing (Ngo Chun Luk)

From 25 August to 2 September 2016, TRANSMIC PhD Researcher Ngo Chun Luk (ESR10) visited Beijing (China) in order to conduct supplementary research into the quasi-citizenship scheme of China. During his time in Beijing, Chun conducted a number of interviews with Chinese academics and stakeholders, which provided him with additional information complementing his research.

As part of CEPS, Chun also met with a number of key academics in the field of transnational migration and citizenship at the Beijing Normal University. He was also invited to attend a lecture given by a renowned Chinese professor on issues of migration in China.
