Ester Serra Mingot presents research in Brighton and Geneva

On 12-13 June 2015, Ester Serra Mingot (TRANSMIC PhD researcher at Maastricht University) presented a paper at the Second Sudanese Diaspora International Conference, in Brighton – United Kingdom. The main theme of the conference was: “The Role of Universities and Research Institutions in Managing Knowledge for a Sustainable Inclusive Growth in Sudan”.
Ester also presented a paper on Welfare and Mobile Populations at the 12th IMISCOE conference in Geneva, held from 25-27 June 2015. The conference covered the theme “Rights, Democracy and Migration”, and was organised by the Institute for Demographic and Life Course Studies, the Swiss Forum for Migration and Population Studies and the nccr – on the move.
