TRANSMIC researcher in Ecuador (Polina Palash)

Between August and October TRANSMIC researcher Polina Palash (ESR 7) has concluded the last part of multi-sited ethnographic fieldwork in Ecuador, interviewing 23 families having transnational ties in Europe as well as 7 key informants.
In Ecuador Palash was invited to give a class to students in the department of Sociology in Guayaquil University as well as a presentation to a group of research on migration of FLACSO University in Quito, where she was received as visiting PhD fellow.
