At the end of their course on Migration, Development and Conflict, in which they studied related theories, empirical evidence and policies, TRANSMIC postdoctoral fellow Marieke van Houte (Oxford University) asked her MSc in Migration Studies students to come up with constructive recommendations on how to apply their learning to take research and policy on migration and development forward. The results can be found here.

Van Houte also keeps her own blog on migration. One of the most recent posts introduces CONTAINED, an immersive theatrical performance on decisions, journeys, and arrivals based on research and migrants’ stories from around the world, co-directed by Van Houte.
